Yep. This is the right place for this video. This is an old skit called Dead or Alive. It sounds more macabre than it is. It's mostly just one clown being a body that doesn't adhere to the role the other clown imposes on it. Very much like a rag doll act with less flexibility. While this act might still earn a polite chortle today, what could we do to update or change this bit to be more funny for a modern audience?
I think a good bit might be playing off the fear of the dead without actually making the "dead" clown scary. The live clown might pull the "dead" clown up with such force that the "dead" clown lands on top of the live clown's shoulders and sends him running to get away from the clown that he's carrying with him. Segway into a pratfall with the "dead" clown on top while the live clown continues to exaggerate his abject terror for a laughing audience. Much like Abbot and Costello meet the Mummy demonstrated, scary isn't funny, but scared is hilarious.
